Description
An onward ticket is a confirmed reservation for departure from a country or region, typically within a set amount of time following arrival. It is also referred to as a return ticket or proof of onward travel. Many countries require visitors to have an onward ticket in order to be admitted, as a means of preventing overstaying visas or attempts to enter the country illegally.
